Friendly and welcoming team with excellent English on reception. Good sized pitches part shaded each with potable water and 10A EHU. Toilet, shower and washing facilities all kept clean, always open and lashings of hot water day and night. A peaceful location with so many wild birds to spot. Yes, there are permanent caravans on some pitches but at the weekend the owners came to the site and, without exception really friendly, they added to our stay. The National Park visitor centre is next door and the site is less than 14km to the heart of the Park and it\'s many walks. For us the highlight was the half day bird watching safari that can be booked through reception. Highly recommended; for us it ticked all boxes...we intended to stay for 3 or 4 nights and stayed 7. As we left, the owners gave a us a parting gift of local meat products; how many other sites show their appreciation that way!

wij hadden een mooie plaats op de camping in een periode,dat het rond de 30 graden was. Douches zijn heerlijk. Restaurant heeft voldoende kwaliteit. Placensia is een leuk stadje in de omgeving en verder is dit gebied bekend voor vogelaars. Wij hebben in de 3 dagen 3 fietstochten gemaakt. was goed te doen.

Great location with lovely views over countryside and visiting azure winged magpies at our favourite pitches.

Rustige camping vlak bij NP Monfrague. Ruime plaatsen, je mag zelf een plek uitzoeken. Zwembad was gesloten, terwijl de temperauur richting de veertig graden ging. Het eten in het restaurant is voldoende, maar de bediening laat te wensen over. Erg onpersoonlijk. Ik heb niet het idee dat de bediening plezier in het werk heeft.

Mooie camping, prima sanitair, prachtige omgeving, één minpunt zwembad gaat pas eind juni open. Zou nu bij 39 gr. wel een duik willen nemen. Misschien foto’s aanpassen?

Camping gelegen aan de rand van het park. Vrije keus van plaats. Prima sanitair met uitstekende douches. Zwembad was eind mei nog gesloten. Wel jammer want een duik was zeer welkom geweest. Prima restaurant met mooi uitzicht en zonsondergang. Op camping mogelijkheid tot het boeken van een vogelgids. Zeer de moeite waard. Ook fietsen door het park is een aanrader.

Camping muy tranquilo en plena naturaleza. El entorno es precioso. Los baños muy bien cuidados. Recogen la basura a menudo. Tiene un restaurante en el que se come muy bien. Preparan un cochinillo delicioso. Piscina grande y muy limpia y cuidada. El personal es muy amable y siempre te resuelven cualquier problema.

Mooi gelegen op 12 km van bezoekerscentrum waar verschillende wandelingen starten door het natuurgebied - zeer vriendelijk personeel en prima restaurant. Jolanda.

We stayed at the end of August as the guided tour of the park was recommended. This is a very nice site with a choice of pitches. Toilets and showers were very clean. The pool was good and accessed through the car park but not restricted to the campsite and can get very busy. Reception staff welcoming and helpful including arranging our tour which was incredible as we would not have known where to look and the list of birds went on and on. Nice little shop. Cycling is hilly but roads not too busy. The one disappointment was the bar/restaurant as the barman was rude telling us we could not eat. We then noticed people coming in and ordering as the kitchen opened at 20.00. We raised this with an older man who clearly had words with the young guy who was trying to be clever. The food was good.
