Friendly and welcoming team with excellent English on reception. Good sized pitches part shaded each with potable water and 10A EHU. Toilet, shower and washing facilities all kept clean, always open and lashings of hot water day and night. A peaceful location with so many wild birds to spot. Yes, there are permanent caravans on some pitches but at the weekend the owners came to the site and, without exception really friendly, they added to our stay. The National Park visitor centre is next door and the site is less than 14km to the heart of the Park and it\'s many walks. For us the highlight was the half day bird watching safari that can be booked through reception. Highly recommended; for us it ticked all boxes...we intended to stay for 3 or 4 nights and stayed 7. As we left, the owners gave a us a parting gift of local meat products; how many other sites show their appreciation that way!

wij hadden een mooie plaats op de camping in een periode,dat het rond de 30 graden was. Douches zijn heerlijk. Restaurant heeft voldoende kwaliteit. Placensia is een leuk stadje in de omgeving en verder is dit gebied bekend voor vogelaars. Wij hebben in de 3 dagen 3 fietstochten gemaakt. was goed te doen.

Very quiet in October. Shower block older but very clean. They even had shower curtains! Restaurant next to the site very good value for good, basic food well cooked. Reception speaks very good English. A quiet, pleasant place to stay in easy reach of the Monfrague national park. Slightly sloping but large motorhome pitches.

Fijne camping. Wel heel veel scheve plekken. Met blokken redelijk waterpas te krijgen. minpunt met de acsi kaart kun je in principe alleen cash betalen.

Un camping de lo mejor en la zona, muy tranquilo al menos en este mes de Marzo. Ideal para hacer rutas por la zona, los aseos están impecables, la atención en recepción excelente, explicándote todo lo que hay que ver en la zona. El restaurante también está muy bien, buenas comidas a precios razonables.

We stayed 5 nights at this campsite primarily to go on the guided 4x4 tour, arranged by the reception, to see the birds and wildlife in the adjacent Monfragüe national park. Our guide was great and very knowledgeable and we saw all the big birds there, apart from the rare Iberian Eagle. There is an excellent, free, visitor centre right next door with lots of information and videos. We were also able to drive our PVC into the park and visited close by Placencia too, with easy and free

Great location with lovely views over countryside and visiting azure winged magpies at our favourite pitches.

We have stayed before and an ideal stop as we head south from Santander. Toilet and showers a little dated but clean and plentiful hot water. Friendly helpful staff with fresh bread daily and other basic essentials. Very easy to drive into the National Park to enjoy the birdlife. will use as a stop on our return journey. Restaurant and pool closed in winter and cash requested for payment

Camping muy tranquilo en plena naturaleza. El entorno es precioso. Los baños muy bien cuidados. Recogen la basura a menudo. Tiene un restaurante en el que se come muy bien. Preparan un cochinillo delicioso. Piscina grande y muy limpia y cuidada. El personal es muy amable y siempre te resuelven cualquier problema.
