Deze camping gebruikt als overnachtingscamping richting Sevilla.
Vriendelijk ontvangst en we mochten zelf een plek uitzoeken. Het sanitair is wat verouderd maar het was in onze periode schoon en de douches gaven een lekker harde straal. Het restaurant was eenvoudig en het eten was ruim voldoende qua prijs/ kwaliteit.
In de de omgeving wordt veel georganiseerd en mat name voor natuurmensen.
Dit is voor ons zeker een plek om nog eens terug te komen.

Camping bien ubicado para ver Monfragüe. Si no te tocan campistas molestos es un sitio tranquilo.
No se respetan las hora de descanso por parte de los campistas fijos.

We have stayed before and an ideal stop as we head south from Santander. Toilet and showers a little dated but clean and plentiful hot water. Friendly helpful staff with fresh bread daily and other basic essentials. Very easy to drive into the National Park to enjoy the birdlife. will use as a stop on our return journey. Restaurant and pool closed in winter and cash requested for payment

Very quiet in October. Shower block older but very clean. They even had shower curtains! Restaurant next to the site very good value for good, basic food well cooked. Reception speaks very good English. A quiet, pleasant place to stay in easy reach of the Monfrague national park. Slightly sloping but large motorhome pitches.

Een zeer rustig gelegen camping in het Nationaal Park Monfrague. Uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor tochten door het park. Grote percelen, niet allemaal even vlak.

We have stayed here for many years on our way to and from the south, both as a night halt and longer and have always looked forward to it for its surroundings and proximity to the national park. However, this year we found the sight to be tired and in need of attention. Some work was being done to tidy up but this involved heavy machinery being scattered about. Also there was a proliferation of untidy statics with noisy and inconsiderate occupants. The pool is not of a very high standard but was shut anyway being low season in spite of the high temp

Sitio tranquilo, cerca de P.N. Monfragüe y de Plasencia. Baños limpios , parcelas con y sin sombra.
La parte negativa es que los fijos son en general maleducados, piensan que el camping es suyo, ocupan con sus coches parcelas libres, etc.

Camping rodeado de naturaleza, en el parque nacional de Monfragüe. Piscina muy grande rodeada de mucho césped natural. Muy bien comunicado por autovía.

Fuimos a finales de junio de 2023 y había poca gente. Nos dejaron elegir la parcela que más nos gustase. Parcelas amplias, algunas con sombra de árboles y otras con toldos. La piscina muy grande y con mucha zona de césped natural.
Los baños muy limpios y la zona de fregaderos muy amplia y cubierta.
Muy bien situado y comunicado para ver el parque nacional de Monfragüe y la provincia de Cáceres.

Friendly and welcoming team with excellent English on reception. Good sized pitches part shaded each with potable water and 10A EHU. Toilet, shower and washing facilities all kept clean, always open and lashings of hot water day and night. A peaceful location with so many wild birds to spot. Yes, there are permanent caravans on some pitches but at the weekend the owners came to the site and, without exception really friendly, they added to our stay. The National Park visitor centre is next door and the site is less than 14km to the heart of the Park and it\'s many walks. For us the highlight was the half day bird watching safari that can be booked through reception. Highly recommended; for us it ticked all boxes...we intended to stay for 3 or 4 nights and stayed 7. As we left, the owners gave a us a parting gift of local meat products; how many other sites show their appreciation that way!
