Ook in 2022 daar gekampeerd met camper, heel vriendelijk personeel en ontzettend goed restaurant. Je moet reserveren en krijgt dan een tijd wanneer je kunt komen eten voor een schappelijke prijs.

Goede camping . Wij stonden er om Salamanca te bezoeken en een dagje rust.

We werden heel vriendelijk door de eigenaar ontvangen. Hij gaf een zeer goede uitleg over de camping en de omgeving. En ook hoe we op een makkelijke manier naar Salamanca konden fietsen.

Der Campingplatz liegt super, um Salamanca mit dem Fahrrad besuchen. In nur 35 Minuten kann die Stadt erreicht werden (ohne E-bike). Die Plätze sind geräumig und von Bäumen umgeben. Die Sanitäranlagen waren sehr sauber und es gab viele Kabinen.

An absolutely beautiful campsite, with the most friendly welcome. You are able to select your own pitch, and all pitches are quite spacious. The facilities are clean and have great hot showers. The restaurant food is amazing, great value for money, a good choice of food and cater for individual requirements eg. gluten free options. The staff in the restaurant are knowledgable and friendly and it has a cosy atmosphere. I would definitely return to this site and recommend it to other happy campers. Thank you to our campground hosts.

Didn’t book and the site was quite busy when we arrived. Friendly receptionist who spoke great English. Pitches aren’t allocated and as we’re travelling with friends we had to walk the site to find two pitches together.
Quite tight to get into some of the pitches, we’re 7.5m long with the tow bar bike rack and it was snug to make sure we weren’t over the access road.
Bar is nice, lots of seating outside, service is friendly, if a little chaotic. We had an evening meal in the restaurant, had to book and couldn’t get a table until 9pm. Worth the wait, lovely steak, although could have done with a bit of veg or potatoes with it.
Toilets were clean, ran out of loo roll in some stalls, but restocked. Soap ran out in the toilets and took a while to be restocked. Plenty of hot water in the showers, not push button.
We cycled (e-bike) along the river into Salamanca, easy route, but be aware that it isn’t smooth path and there is a narrow part of the path which my friend and I got off and walked as it was rough and we didn’t fancy a bath in the river if we’d come off!
Salamanca is lovely, lots to see. Recommend climbing the Scala Coeli which is free to climb. 181 steps to the top, plus the bell tower and you have great views across Salamanca. cross over from Scala Coeli to Casa de las Conchas, which is now a public library. Enter through the huge doors and enjoy the inner courtyard.

Ich kann die überschwänglichen Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Für uns Wohnwagen-Reisende, die wir unser Gespann auf dem vorgesehenen Parkbereich vor dem Camping abstellten, war der Empfang chaotisch! Die Dame der Rezeption war mit sich vordrängelten Wohnmobilen beschäftigt und hatte für uns nur ein wiederholtes „excuse me“ übrig. Eine Übersicht freier Stellplätze konnte sie uns nicht geben - wir sollten uns irgendeinen freien Platz aussuchen. Dies war leider nicht einfach, da fast alle größeren schattigen Plätze mit rot-weßen Bänder reserviert waren. Da bei uns der erste Eindruck zählt, können wir diesen Campingplatz nicht weiter empfehlen und werden sicher nicht wiederkommen! Nicht in Anspruch genommene Kategorien muss ich mit 1Stern bewerten, da 5 Kategorien Pflicht sind…



A site worth visiting again. Good pitches and super WiFi here. The toilets, showers and facilities are a bit dated but immaculate and with loads of hot water. The showers are drench heads and particularly good. The receptionist was really friendly and offered tons of advice.We have a dog and could not use the public transport even if our wee dog was in his cage. You could get a taxi to take you and your dog through the site but we cycled into the city on our bikes. An easy 25 minute flat trip but a long walk if you decide to walk in.
The restaurant was just opening for the summer when we left Definitely come back here again.

Camping très sympathique, idéalement situé pour aller découvrir la belle ville de Salamanque, grâce à une piste cyclable démarrant à la porte du camping et qui vous emmène au pied de la vieille ville. Accès camping et emplacement très facile. Accueil, chaleureux en français. Sanitaires et douches nickel, neufs et nettoyés régulièrement. Emplacements qui peuvent être un peu petits mais il y a du choix si l\'on arrive pas trop tard. Par contre allées très poussiéreuses, emplacements également car pas d\'herbe. Joli petit restaurant avec bonne cuisine. Camping validé sans réserve.
