Prachtige ligging. Mooi uitzicht. Leuke bar en prima restaurant. Vlakbij een leuk stadje. Aan heerlijk zwemwater. Mooie wandelingen.

Fijne camping aan het mooie Ortameer, op loop - en fietsafstand van het idlysche Orta San Gulia.
Met de auto in nog geen 35 minuten rij je naar het Lago Magiore.

Es war nur für eine Nacht alles OK. Ich benötigte den Platz als Unterbruch zur Weiterreise in Richtung Montenegro.Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und kompetent. Der Platz war wie gewünscht mit Gras bewachsen und in sehr gutem Zustand. Der Zugang zum See ist problemlos die den Tunnel erreichbar und sehr praktisch, die Strasse muss nicht überquert werden. Dies ist vor allem für Kinder sehr sinnvoll und praktisch.

Sehr schön gelegener Campingplatz. Das Personal ist freundlich. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und sauber. Einziger Minuspunkt: Es gibt kein Toilettenpapier auf den WC\'s.

The location is excellent. We chose to be on a terraced pitch, which had stunning views of the lake. Easy walking into the local town, which was beautiful. The toilet block was extremely clean, however, no toilet paper or soap was provided. I would highly recommend this campsite.

I liked this site a lot, mainly due to position on Lake Orta which is a very pretty lake. Personally I wouldn’t bother with the pitches on the terraces above the road. Lots of static units and not very appealing. Go for the lake side pitches which offer stunning lake views. Access to pitches can be a bit tight due to trees. Don’t be put off if the ground appears soft. Most of the pitches are grass covering a hard lattice which will prevent you getting stuck even if the ground appears waterlogged. The local town is a gem and walks in and around the promontory it’s located on are fabulous.
Highly recommended.

Fantastisk beliggende plads hvor stort set alle pladser har udsigt over den smukke sø. Købmanden har et ret begrænset udvalg, men nabobyen 1,8 km. væk har en Conad supermarked med rimeligt udvalg. Bar/restaurant laver udmærkede pizza til fornuftige priser. Rengøring af de i øvrigt meget veludstyrede service bygninger er helt i top. Jeg tror ikke vi har set bedre rengøring (vi har været her 1 uge) i de 38 år vi har camperet. Omgivelserne byder på fantastiske landskaber, masser af kultur og trave - og cykelture for dem der ikke er bange for lidt bakker. Pladsen har vores bedste anbefaling.

The site is split into two by the road and the reception is on the road side. The lake pitches can be very tight and close together and the roadside is tiered, some overlooking the lake.
The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar offer a good selection of drinks and food. It also has a small shop with a good selection of fresh and frozen foods.Fresh bread is available daily.
The town of San Giulio is about a 40min walk and well worth it - lots of beautiful buildings.
Also a very dog friendly site which for us is important.
We would definitely return to this site
