Camping deplorable et dangeur sanitaire qui non pas était nettoyé depuis des jours de l herbe haute des poteaux cassés dans l herbe avec des visse qui dépasse dans la zone de la balançoire terrains de pétanque inutilisable les espaces vert non taillé nous regrettons que le petit jeune gérant sois parti il y a quelle que années car le camping et laisser à l abandon et à perdu son âme nous ne reviendrons plus dans se camping le manque d'hygiène et exceptionnel et l'accueil sommaire

Campsite in a lovely position a short walk into town. Unfortunately while showering in the main toilet block there were several youths in the female section, (male side empty) running around naked banging on shower doors shouting and harassing the females that were showering. reported this the the reception and was told ‘used another toilet block’’. it’s a shame which could have been a great stay

A municipal campsite on the edge of the river Vienne, 10 minutes walk across the bridge from the lovely town of Chinon. Tidy and clean, friendly staff. Water nice and hot. Free WIFI - we were near the reception, don\'t know what it was like further away.

toilet and shower facilities very basic and the showers were flooding. the one member of staff we saw was friendly helpful and hard working but seemed not to be enough staff on

Good sized pitch with wonderful view of Chinon Château. Electric points shared amongst pitches so need plenty of cable. Sanitary facilities cleaned regularly, good hot showers but no loo paper. Ideally placed for visiting Chinon, just a short walk across the river into the town with shops, restaurants and the Château. Site a bit scruffy but relatively good value for money.

Agréable pour visiter Chinon bien placé nous devions téter 2 nuits nous allons rester sûrement une troisième pour finir de visiter…

Camping très bien placé pour visiter Chinon. Les places sont spacieuses. Nuit troublée par des « caravanistes » musique puis disputes et échanges houleux jusque tard dans la nuit. Sanitaires dans un état déplorable le matin. Je plains la personne chargée de les nettoyer.

Great location for Chinon, a very short easy walk. Unfortunately we did not receive a warm welcome here, staff spoke very rapidly despite being asked to slow down. Site closed for 4hr lunch! And, the mosquitoes!!!!

Sanitäre Anlagen sehr ungepflegt, teilweise nur kaltes Wasser, Nachts keine Beleuchtung am Platz, Personal sehr freundlich, schade, wir hatten mehr erwartet

We have used this site several times in the past and we're surprised how much it has deteriorated since last year. Several toilets and showers out of order/broken. Little evidence of any cleaning of the facilities that are open.
Such a shame as this used to be a much better site which has views of the chateau and is within easy walking distance of Chinon.
Definitely needs some work putting in to it to bring up to a reasonable standard.
