We absolutely loved this campsite! Roads up to the site are a little stressful but might be our fault for just blindly following Google maps. We loved our pitch it was a good size and easy to reverse the caravan into and felt private. The baby baths are brilliant and always a welcome relief so we don\'t have to shower a 2 year old and a 3 month old. The toilets and showers were clean with hot water and toilet roll. It is dark at night but we just used our phone torches to get around. The pool was nice, bit cold but it is towards the end of the season. Definitely recommend and will look to stay at Huttopia brand campsites again.

we stayed at this campsite for two nights in September. Pitches are set in a wooded area so lots of privacy. Good, clean toilet/shower facilities. Tennis court and swimming pool on site, also a restaurant/ bar although this closed at 7pm whilst we were there.

we read some negative reviews which we simply don’t understand. it was excellent !! The biggest motor homes or caravans and large cars may find access to some pitches difficult. ours was spacious. please note as others have said. DO NOT follow satnav to get to the site. go through the town of Royat and access from there. our Google maps route was a nightmare. overall this was the best experience to date for us and our second excellent Huttopia site. will look out for them in future

Sehr schöner Natur-CP, große Stellplätze mit viel Abstand zu den Nachbarn, sehr ruhig gelegen. Sanitäranlagen modern und sehr sauber. Freundlicher Check-in - hilfsbereites Personal (Verständigung ist auf englisch möglich). Brot/Brötchenservice funktioniert sehr gut. C-F. Ist eine interessante Stadt (Empfehlung: Michelin Welt).

Varem estar molt a guts, per sort varem escollir una parcel. La amb ombre, el tracte del personal, molt amable i profesional, tranquil de dia i de nit, serveis nets i de qualitat, camping molt integrat al paisatge. Molt recomenable, ja se sap Huttopia es sinonim de qualitat.

Schöner Camping unter Bäumen. Beheizbares Sanitär, Brot an der Rezeption, WiFi im großen beheizten Aufenthaltsraum.

Prima camping. Heerlijk rustig in groene omgeving, wel heuvelachtig. Wij kwamen van bovenaf/Clermont Ferrand. Onze navigatie en Google maps gaf straatjes aan met 15% stijging. Wanneer je bordjes camping/D944 en D5 volgt is route prima te doen. Vriendelijk personeel. Schoon sanitair. Hoogteverschil op camping. Plekken met zon en/of schaduw.

We were very pleased that when we booked \"last minute\" they were able to find us a space, but only after I said that when I had phoned the day before I had been told that there was plenty of room. When we arrived we were allocated a remote pitch; no choice was offered. Is this what happens to those who book via ACSI? At least our pitch was large enough for our 7.4m caravan, awning and car. However, the closest \"sanitaire\" was closed, necessitating a fair walk to the excellent facilities.
I don\'t think they\'re really set up for caravans as the chemical toilet disposal was not marked on the map. It\'s by the motorhome service point, another lengthy walk from our pitch.

Access into the campsite was okay, but we had to pass a 3.5t weight limit (sauf livraison - do we count as a delivery?) to get to the campsite from the motorway. When leaving to go south we made sure our sat-nav knew our train weight was over 3.5t (perhaps it didn\'t on the way in) and we had to climb a big hill and drop down again, taking 20 minutes to travel about 3km as the crow flies. Some campsites say they\'re not suitable for twin axle vans, perhaps the distinction should be between over/under 3.5t.
The two young ladies on reception were lovely, but we nearly went elsewhere when booking with the gentleman on the phone, but perhaps that was what he wanted.
The main part of the campsite - pool, bar/restaurant, sanitaire - were very good.
I would give it a generous 6 (so maybe 5 if I was being only a little unkind), and if asked whether I would return, it\'s an emphatic \"no\".

What a busy site in June! We were going to stay for several nights but only stayed one. The pitches offered to us were small, but walking round the campsite I think that all the pitches are quite small. Not many pitches suitable for caravans, would be wonderful for campervans. I just felt a bit hemmed in. Staff were very nice and helpful. Nice croissant and coffee at the bar. Didn\'t use the swimming pool but it looked fine!
